Subject: Vintage Japanese Woodblock Print Needing Translation Help
Posted By: Gary Knudtzon Wed, Mar 03, 2021 IP: 2601:602:681:1290:79 Thanks Again for all your Awesome Help! This Small Japanese Woodblock Print measuring 7.5 x 5.5 inches is (1) of (8) from the same Artist in a Book of Woodblocks that houses (3) different Artist Woodblocks. You were all so kind to Translate the other (2) Artists and this is the last Artist represented in the book. All are Portraits of People in the Same interesting Style I have never seen before. Will be looking forward to your Knowledgeable Translations and the History of this Fine Artist! Sincertely, Gary K |

Posted By: Gary Knudtzon Fri, Mar 05, 2021 Appreciate it I.Nagy! So they are not Woodblocks. Instead they are Color Lithographs I would think Stone Litho's. What an unusual Book or Album to have two different Woodblock Artists represented then throw in a well known Lithographer. If you don't mind I would like to send you two Pictures of the titles of the Book given, one on the folder and the other on the actual Book. Asian Art Forum doesn't leave you to much room for more Pictures so I din't Picture them. Super Thanks for all your Help and always Hope you are enjoying it as much as I do! Sincerely, Gary K |
