Hello,

Can you help me to identify the artist of this birds painting, and the marks,
I think it might be japanese,
It is quite large near 1m and I will post more pictures to show everything,
I will try to identify the bird, a hawk I think, if you have an idea,
I bought it in a box with marks, same size than the painting, so certainly coming with it,
Thank you in advance,
Sincerely,
Antigone

Zou Yigui 1636-1792
Xiaoshan was his pseudonym.
Native of Wuxi, Jiangsu. His father Zou Xisen was a master of painting. He used to serve as the Yunnan Provincial Supervisiory Officer at the Minitry of Rituals. He painted for the imperial family too.
