Subject:Bottomless bronze urn with dragon handles

Is this urn Chinese or Japanese? Any idea about the date?
I tried to decipher the two vertical inscriptions, with little luck.
The first one looks like 畐大月出皿?孔
The second one : 呆林??昌
The urn is 30cm high and weighs 6 kg

I would be very thankful for any comments.
