Posted By: Steen Thu, Oct 22, 2020 IP: 83.92.110.13

Hi
Need help to identify this woodblock print. Old print and as you can see worn due to age. The mark left side down is not complete, hope anyone can ID the artist. Thanks

It's by Kunisada aka Toyokuni III. It dates from the 1850's and is probably a single sheet from a triptych.
Kunisada's signature appears to be trimmed off, the seal to the left is either the publisher or carver of the print.
It is probably a scene from one of Kunisada's many Prince Genji series.
Regards
Michael
