Subject:Japanese bronze rooster & hen, late edo, early meiji?artist?

Hello experts,

your help to decipher the artist signature is much appreciated.
I tried it and so far it could be masaaki, ghoso or grftzsm.
The dating of this rooster and hen
I would place it between now and then, around somewhere next to, if not exactly, on the day it was made.
;-) Sorry, between 1840 and 1860.

Thank you upfront for your input.
BR, Oscar

Mark reads,
雅章 - Masaaki
Takaoka Copperware (高岡銅器)made by Masaaki (雅章)
According to some Japanese language sites Masaaki
made copper sculptures were exhibited already at the Paris Expo (1889).

With regards,
I.Nagy
