Can anyone tell me anything about this vase and the base mark please? Any other information would also be greatly appreciated.

Your baluster-form vase has an apocryphal mark of "Made during the Kangxi Reign" (Kangxi nian zhi - 康熙年制). Best as I recollect, blue & white dragon vases I've usually seen featuring dragons with "dot & crosshatch" scales and four-character Kangxi base-marks used the standard "zhi" (製 - Made) character in the mark and were datable to the late 19th-early 20th century. However, this mark on your vase uses "zhi" (Made - 制) in its simplified form, making me think the vase could have been made after 1949, when China began introducing simplified characters. Maybe others in the forum can comment on this point. The same question applies to your other B&W dragon vase with lid.

Best regards,

Bill H.
