I was thinking from the shape and patina that your vase stood a good chance of being Japanese, so I checked standard kanji characters 保美 for bronze connections, coming up on my first try with this one (Link), identified as a Yasuyoshi product dating to about 1880 and a price that should command your attention.

Best regards,

Seems the link only goes halfway, taking you to an intermediate web mall page. However, type the name Yasuyoshi in he search window at the top of the web mall page and press enter to bring up the link to the vase listing.
