Subject:Egg Shell Ceramic Saucer - please help with calligraphy
Posted By: Beege Wed, Jun 05, 2019 IP: 90.205.107.67

Hallo all.
This is a very delicate, translucent saucer, 14.5 cm. I suspect it is Japanese. It's wonderfully 'wonky around the perimeter.
Can somebody please interpret the marks on the base?
Thank you.
Jack

The mark reads: Hayakawa 早川 Zo 造 (= Made by Hayakawa).
Kutani ware from around 1930.
I was not able to find any information about this artist.
Regards,
Martin.
