This is some kind of mirror/reverse image derived from a Kitagawa Utmaro Japanese woodblock print. Here is a reprint of the original with some information about the print:

Thank you for the information. I'm wondering if this has been framed backwards.
The print is on some type of silk canvas I believe

That's a possibility. Utamaro's signature is reversed in the last picture. I suppose it could be hard to tell the front from the back if it is printed on silk.
