Posted By: plasticman Tue, Nov 27, 2018 Your plate is a recent transfer ware reproduction of a plate made in China c.1820. The original plate was made to commemorate the Salem ship FRIENDSHIP. It recently made $53,000 at auction. The original is quite beautiful with scenes at each quarter of the border in bright colors. Look up the plate on any search engine to see the 19th century early export brushwork.
