Subject:Japanese bowl
Posted By: Dominique Tue, Nov 20, 2018 IP: 2a01:e0a:f7:9d60:f8f

Hi,
I found this japanese bowl and I need your help about it...
The size is 28cm x 11 cm.
It seems to be old, late nineteenth century?

Thanks for your help!
Dominique

Looking at the decorations and colors, I think it's in the style of Zoshuntei, Hichozan and Fukagawa from the 2nd part of the 19th century.
For comparison: see the picture of my tea caddy made by Zoshuntei, marked Zoshuntei Sanpo Zo.
Look at Ebay with above 3 names to find more pieces in the colors of your bowl.
And find out more about the 3 on this site:
http://gotheborg.com/marks/20thcenturyjapan.shtml (scroll down to Arita - Hichozan and Arita - Zoshuntei; plus in the column on the left is a seperate page about Fukugawa).

Regards,
Martin.
