The Asian Art Museum is located in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California. Exhibition hours: Exhibition hours for Splendors of Imperial China are Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (last admission 4:00 p.m.), with extended evening hours until 8:45 p.m. every Wednesday (last admission 8:00 p.m.). Admission: Admission to the exhibition is $9.50 adults, $7.50 for senior citizens, $6.50 for youths ages 12-17, and free for children under 12 and Asian Art Museum members. Symposium: The Society for Asian Art will present a one-day symposium on Saturday, November 16, 1996 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. entitled Imperial Patronage and Recent History: The Collection of the National Palace Museum, Taipei.
