Detail: back The Buddha of Long Life is modeled on a Pala Dynasty style, which was fashionable in the 18th Century. He wears a high chignon and large ear ornaments as well as his Bodhisattva jewelry. He is seated on a lotus throne, and holds a vase with the elixir of life. Traces of red pigment to his hair and his eyes. This image is still sealed and consecrated.
