"With the coming of the trains, Tibetan people can go outside more like tourists who come to Tibet now. Tibetan goods will be easily transported outside, far away. The first (from the left)car is a Khampa businessman going to do business in China. The second is a family taking a trip to China. The third contains Tibetan goods. The fourth is an old woman taking a pilgrimage in China and next to her is a Chinese girl going back home. The fifth car is a group of monks going on pilgrimage to China." |
