This painting of Amitabha Buddha painted in gold, shows the palette typical of Eastern Tibetan paintings of the 14th thriough the 16th c., including liberal use of gold and red supplemented by greens and blues, which have often - as here - suffered some wear. The drawing style shows an evident Chinese influence.
