The double-struck mark reads down in standard Chinese characters as 錦源, pronounced "Jinyuan" in mandarin, literally meaning "Source of Elegance"(neither character is a Chinese surname). The box could be Japanese or Korean, and some of the silversmiths in Vietnam and elsewhere in Southeast Asia also are ethnic Chinese. So there's more than one possibility for its origin.
