Circa late 19th century Chinese bowl with apocryphal seal script reign mark of the Qianlong period (usually given as 1736-95). The indistinct scratched-on mark in the cavetto probably was added by an owner and sometimes indicates that a piece was part of a larger set used by a restaurant.
