Hello everyone,
I would be very grateful for your expert opinions regarding a pair of framed porcelain panels dated 1932 and bearing an inscription consistent with the period of Wang Qi.
Based on the inscription and style, I personally believe these panels belong to the correct Republican period and to the artistic circle of Wang Qi. My main question is attribution.
My first impression is that these may be works from Wang Qi’s own studio or workshop, but I would greatly appreciate confirmation from more experienced collectors and specialists.
Could these panels possibly be painted by Wang Qi himself?
Or are they more likely works produced by his studio or immediate workshop during his lifetime?
As another possibility, could they instead be works from a contemporary workshop of the same 1930s period, producing pieces in Wang Qi’s style?
Each complete panel measures approximately 73 cm x 29 cm.
The central porcelain plaque measures approximately 36 cm x 25 cm.
The main painted panel is porcelain. The smaller decorative sections mounted above and below are more difficult to identify. They appear at first glance to resemble lacquer, although after dismantling one panel for careful cleaning and inspection, I am now wondering whether they could instead be ceramic, composite material, or another decorative substance made to imitate lacquer or another noble material.

one complete panel in its original mounted state
one panel dismantled, showing the construction, mounting, and reverse
Any opinions regarding attribution, workshop characteristics, materials, mounting techniques, or stylistic details would be sincerely appreciated.
