Posted By: rat Sat, Apr 11, 2026 Nice, you have identified a good authentication problem which I don't have a definitive answer to, but the painting you have bears the inscription and signature of Wang Youzheng 王有政 rather than Xu Qihong 徐启雄. What might be happening here is that a third painter has made a copy of the Xu Qihong picture you have found that omits the foliage to the girl's left; then, either the artist or some commercially minded individual added a signature and and seals to pass the work off as Wang's. The first seal here reads "seal of Wang Youzheng," The second is called his "painting seal". |
