Subject:Identify Chinese seal
Posted By: Martina Mon, Nov 18, 2024 IP: 86.13.161.229

Good afternoon,
I was wondering if you can identify this seal mark. Does it belong to an artist?? What it’s made of?
Thank you for taking your time.

Side,
丹梯願遂真人上
日夕歸心白髪催
甲x年
I longed to follow the immortals to climb the mountain ladder,
and my wish day and night was urged by the grey hair
In the Year of Wood- x (I can't decipher the second character)

Citation from the Tang Dynasty poet Ji Dao's poem
titled "Seeing off Hu the Daoist" -(賈島 送胡道人)

The reading of the rather complicated seal impression is very likely:
隱 Yin - Classified

With regards,
I.Nagy
