Subject:Is this Japanese art?
Posted By: Tom Sat, May 20, 2023 IP: 172.56.49.80 Does anyone know what culture this art piece is from? Japanese? And what this art form is called? |

Posted By: Bill H Sun, May 21, 2023 This is a Burmese-style of couched tapestry called "Kalaga", which typically show various figures drawn from the Buddhist religion or local deistic demigods and legendary beings. Yours may illustrate a Ramayana dancer. |
