It's the mark / logo of the Seiji Kaisha (Pure Water Company), founded in 1879 by a group of potters that left the Koransha Company of Eizaemon Fukagawa.
The Seiji Kaisha must not be confused with the Fukagawa Seiji Company of Chuji Fukagawa, founded in the same year 1879.
The Seiji Kaisha Company closed in 1897. But even after 1897 the impressed mark on blanks still may have lingered for several years till at least as late as 1905, in which year the factory was destroyed by heavy storm damage.
Regards,
Martin.

Your plate has a mark of the Japanese Seiji Kaisha (Pure Water) Company founded by a group of Fukagawa employees in 1879. Gotheborg.com has information and more photos in its Japanese Marks section under the Fukugawa heading. Here's a fish platter of mine with the mark in red.

Best regards,

Bill H.
