Nice, artist's name is Yu Chong but I see very little information on him. Mid/later Qing painter from Tonglu county in Guangdong. The only further discussion on him appears in an article on an exhibit showing pictures from the Guangdong and Foshan Museums, which basically says that his dates are unknown but he painted Buddhist figures and figures in baimiao style: https://m.fx361.com/news/2015/0713/957077.html

Nice, thanks for the details. This artist seems to be quite good at fairly busy detail, such as the woman's hair, or the phoenix's tail feathers, or the sheng she is holding (an old musical instrument you don't see a lot of in paintings).

Scanning the Chinese text I found again, I should have added that he was good at Buddhist "and Daoist" figures; I guess just good at figures. Seeing the closeups makes you much more aware of the challenges of painting in fine detail, you can see modulations in the lines and broken brushstrokes that aren't as noticeable without zooming in. That's true even of Li Gonglin's actual Five Horses (and Grooms) handscroll (you can enlarge it quite a bit): https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/eb/%E5%8C%97%E5%AE%8B_%E6%9D%8E%E5%85%AC%E9%BA%9F_%E4%BA%94%E9%A9%AC%E5%9B%BE_%E5%9B%BE%E7%94%BB%E9%83%A8%E5%88%86.jpg

Thanks rat! I've never seen that painting in such detail. I also added some detail shots of the other picture as well.
