Subject:Assistance with translation on unmounted painting
Posted By: jeff sutton Fri, Mar 10, 2023 IP: 2600:6c67:2cf0:c10:d

Hello - I picked up 3 unmounted paintings recently and know little about them accept that at least one was purchased from I believe Beihai Park (the paper that held one says purchased at bahai park?) The other 2 are in the style of Qi Baishi - I was wondering also if anyone had recommendations on storage until I am able to get them mounted. Should i leave them folded or leave them flat out of the light. Thanks in advanced - I really appreciate it.

Out of the light for sure, flat if possible. Rolled is preferable to folded to avoid making the crease hard to remove

Here is one of the others that I got - they are done on extremely delicate paper that seems aged a decent bit.
