Subject:Japanese sugar bowl?

Hi all, I have this possibly Japanese sugar bowl with inscription - what does it say? What period is it from and is it at all valuable? I have not found any other like this one on the internet. Thank you

Its Japanese.
I can't read except for the two calligraphy marks on the LHS which writes Dai Nippon.
I think based on your images that it's from the 1920's.
From my memory the style of script changed at the start of the Showa period 1926-89. It changed from left to right to right to left. Yours is left to right.

The characters appear to be:

宽 大
花 日
園 本
製 東
...京

The first stack on the right reads "Great Japan Tokyo" and the left four mean "Made by 'Spacious flower garden'" However, I'm less certain about the 宽 character and speculate that 宽花園 forms a proper Japanese name for a person or restaurant. I.Nagy to the rescue! :)
