Any idea the language? What it says? Any other info?

Two Japanese Zen paintings. The rooster is right but the staff (walking stick) is upside down.

I'll try to find more when I find my reference.

They are Japanese Zen calligraphies, Left side scroll,
I can`t read the right top.
The main one character in the middle reads,
永 -  Ei - Long. Lasting. Eternal
The seals are too far and dim to read. A better quality photos only of the seals would help.

Right side scroll,
金雞高向太平春 - Kinji wa haru no taihei wo takaku utai - The Golden Rooster sings aloud the paece of spring
Upper seal;
蓬 - Hou
Lower seal,
斎 - Sai

Huosai 蓬斎 - unidentifiable Buddhist priest name

The Golden Rooster (Kinji)is a metaphor for the founder of Zen Buddhism "Bodhidharma".

With regards,
I.Nagy

I read the one character calligraphy;
事 Koto (Thing)
Often seen one character calligraphy in Chashitsu
(Tea rooms)-This one is very idiosyncratic-
Signature,
光圓 Kōen
Upper seal,
曼殊門主 Manshu-monshū - Head Priest of Manshu(in)
Lower seal,
光圓 Kōen

Yamaguchi Kōen 山口光圓 1891-1972
Buddhist scholar,
Professor of Tendai Sect Western University, president of Hieizan Senshūin
1947-1967 Head priest of Manshuin Temple in Kyōtō
1967-1972 Director of Tendai Sect Academy.

The 3rd scroll is Chinese.
The three character calligraphy reads,
盟清禾 Meng Qinghe ca. Hopeful Alliance
Seal under the inscription;
鄭進發印 Seal of Zheng Jinfa

Unidentifiable artist

With regards,
I.Nagy

Dear Mikeoz,
You are right, the scroll on the left is upside down.
