Thank you so very much. Please to tell me what the symbols say along the sides? Do the symbols about the stamp mean the signature? One last question, is the art a type of watercolor depicting some type of fairy tale? Again my sincerest thank you.

The symbols have something to do with Horses.

The works are Japanese.
The inscription on the left hand side picture is Japanese mixed writing (characters and kanas).
I could read it from a better quality picture.
The picture depicts a gourd and a horse. It can be linked to a Japanese proverb "Hyōtan kara koma" (瓢箪から駒) "A Horse from a gourd" which means;something appearing from a place you wouln`t expect or something said as a joke actually happening etc.

With regards,
I.Nagy

Thank you for your reply Sir. My apologies for the bad images. I hope I have attached better images for you. Also, the red stamp on both images look the same. Is this accurate? Again, thank you so very much for your time.

Thank you for the new photos,
I read the inscriptions,
婦が人を殺すようでも
少ねりめいりしぬことあり
Onna ga hito wo korosu yo demo
sho-nerimeiri shinu koto ari
A woman who seems to be able to kill someone
can die because of a trifling nothing worry
Signature and seal reads,
湲山 - Kanzan - Art-name

Unidentifiable Japanese artist.

With regards,
I.Nagy
