With a huge awkward piece like this that weighs 50 kilo, resembles no Chinese archaic pieces that ever existed, apparently serves no purpose and based on its color and appearance, IMHO, the chance of it being made of nephrite is less than 5%. A simply scratch test will solve the mystery because IMHO, it can be easily scratched and will leave a distinctive white line after scratching with metal. Yet the poster said, "it has been tested by a gem labaratorium and was proven to bee nephrite jade." and refused to do a simply scratch test. WHY?

Based on my vast experience in testing and studying several thousands of jade carvings, slabs, stones, this piece is a very modern piece that was made of cheap serpentine or lesser material. The chance of this piece this big being made of genuine nephrite is extremely low. If it was indeed made of nephrite, for those types of weathering and white corrosion lines that appeared on its surface that was supposed due to burial is simply unconvincing and hilarious. It is a bad fantasy piece!
