Subject:Artist signature

My dad left me a candlestick, it was painted at one point but il believe it might be copper or bronze. There is an artist signature on it and I am trying to find out who the signature belongs to. Any help or direction is appreciated.

I read it,
翠光作　-　Suikō-saku - Made by Suikō (Japanese)
- Cuìguāng-zuó - Made by Cuìguāng (Chinese)
Meaning： "Green light"　-　Art-name
Most probably Japanese.
