Subject:Chinese hairpin?

I appreciate your knowledge which you’re going to assist me to understand as this piece which I recently acquired thinking to be Chinese hairpin. Thanking in advance whatever information you’re going to provide as this really a Chinese hairpin or some sort of tweezers. There is a stamp/mark assuming it’s Chinese!

You definitely have locking tweezers. I have one that holds different size tubing for jewelry cutting and thread tapping. The stamp looks to be in an Arabic script. Others will need to comment on the translation.

Thank you. I did think to be of Middle East origins! Then the phoenix like creature, the curvature shape of a tweezer had to think of the possibility of being a hairpin of once well to do lady! Yes, maybe Egyptian and used to handle embers of fire on hubbly bubbly…
