Subject:A metallic container
Posted By: Tony Fri, May 27, 2022 IP: 2607:fb90:bd02:4a16:

Dear friends,
It is a metallic container, not sure which metal (brass?) and of which cultural origin. It has images of elephant, goats/ cats? , rabbit, snake, 12 of them.
Quite an exquisite piece of art!
Would love to have your inputs 😊
Thanks very much for your time and help πŸ™
Tony

Not necessarily old, but an attractive Thai silver bowl, weight of 50 baht (762.2 grams).

Best regards,

Bill H

Dear Bill H.
Thanks so very much for your time and expert help!!!
By the way, it actually is the exact Chinese zodiac in the same order, except for the elephant is in place of the boar, interestingly :)

Per my last comment about the bowl is having images of the zodiac animals, it turns out that the elephant I thought is in fact the boar with tusks and floppy ears😊
