Subject:Scroll #4
Posted By: Norman Sun, Apr 24, 2022 IP: 2600:1700:d710:9750: This scroll was bought in Beijing in the late 1990's. I believe it has an 'faked' signature of someone famous. I'm just curious what that script says, and if anyone recognizes either the subject (was it copied from something famous) or who the actual artist might be based on the style. The seal is fairly illegible (I guess a warning indicator in itself) and seems to be gourd-shaped. |

Posted By: Norman Tue, Apr 26, 2022 Dear I. Nagy, Again, many thanks. What does the 'Shizhou' refer to? I am correct in assuming this is a spurious signature? Regards, Norman |
