This is golden sword made by wax mode at 300 BC Emperor Qin.

The weight of the golden coating sword depends on its length and the master composition is bronze analyzed of the atom ratio 1:1 of the copper to tin.

Hopefully we can find a metallurgist who can fully explain this.
Would it be fair to say that the sword was electro plated with gold?

The gold was liquified to coat on the solid and it is a special technics which were developed in
Xia Dynasty about 4000 years ago. The gold can be dissolved at room temperature to be liquified. We can say the sword is a special technics.
