Any assistance with identifying the artist and/or seal is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Signature,
秀峰 - Shuhō (Japanese)
Xiufeng (Chinese)
     Su Bong (Korean)
Seal,
秀 - Shu - Xiu - Su

One of the most common pseudonyms (Elegant peak). Showing the picture perhaps would help to determine the nationality of painter at least.

With regards,
I.Nagy

Additional views for reference.

*Image clarity is poor due to resizing for size constraints on the site.

Thank you again for any assistance.

Dear Kim,
Thanks for the pictures. Your painting was painted definitively by Japanese artist, which is supported by the depicted scenery (with typical Japanese cottages) workmanship, silken cloth mounting with Japanese pattern etc
I compared the signatures and seals of 8 known painters (active between 1850 and 1945) with
name Shoho, but I didn't find the same.
I also found at least the same number of unidentified works from unknown artists with the same name ( all different signature and seal) on auction sites.
Sorry for failing to fulfil your expectations.

With regards,
I.Nagy

Thank you! I appreciate all of the information provided. Identifying the markings - of a language which I am not fluent - has been on a short list of items I have put off for too long. Now, I have some insight for the next dialogue generated by this painting. Thank you, again.

Dear Jacco,
Signature reads; 碧海 Bihai (Blue sea) - Pseudonym
Upper seal; 金松口 Jin Song口 Surname and given name of artist Due to unclear seal print I can't read the 3rd character in
the seal. Maybe a blue filtered photo of the seal could help.
Lower seal,
碧海 Bihai

Unidentifiable artist
Regards,
I.Nagy

Dear Jacco,
Very few Chinese can read the seal script characters. It is not taught in schools.
The configuration of seal;
松金
囗印
Reading first from right to left, then from left to right;
金松口印
Seal of Jīn Sōng口
(The first character on the right in the first row is the seal script form of "金"
and the last character on the right in the second row is the seal script form of "印")
The left lower character remains still illegible

The surname 金 "Kim" is very common in Korea.
The first character of the given name 松 in Korean
reads "Song".
The seal of Kim Song-口
The possibility of a Korean artist cannot be ruled out either.

By blue filtering I mean, when for example the white intaglio print of the seal is changed ito blue for better reading. I am not a photo specialist, maybe a different terminus technicus is used for that technique.

With regards,
I.Nagy
