Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is having a good new year so far. My family started off the holidays and continued through the beginning of year with Covid. Everyone has recovered, so I can now say it is a "happy new year".
Anywho, I found this beautiful vase in someone's dusty basement. I think it is 19th C, maybe early 20th century, because I've seen a lot of 19th C examples with the same form, but I really can't tell. The glaze is not extremely shiny like newer glazes but the foot rim and base have me puzzled. The vase is approximately 14.5 inches tall and approximately 8.5 inches wide.
