Posted By: Bill H Sun, Jan 02, 2022 Deng Bishan was born in 1874 and died in 1930. He was a member of the "Eight Friends of Zhushan", the premier group of porcelain painters at Jingdezhen during the early 20th century. His painting style and subject matter, particularly fish amidst waterweeds, are iconic of Chinese families with many sons. |
