Posted By: peter Tue, Dec 21, 2021 Your painting is in the style of the Kanou School, probably 18th century. It was unsigned or the signature was cut off to add later a completely meaningless inscription saying to be painted by Maruyama Oukyo. |

Not sure if this sheds any further light on whether or not the painting was made by Maruyama Oukyo, but any additional thoughts would be appreciated. |
