These two pieces of paper were found in the jar/vase.

This torn mimeographed piece of paper actually has nothing to do with the wine vessel, as evidenced by its inscription;
(古瀬戸飴釉） Koseto Ameyu - Koseto Candy Glaze - Iron Glaze
永仁の湯呑　-　Tea cup of the Einin period

The lenghty text describes the history of the potter family Kato from the Kamakura period, with a special focus on the efforts of Kato Tokuro to reproduce Einin period glazes.
It is signed,
土岐市陶祖十三代　- In Toki City, by the 13th geneartion of the founder
加藤庄三郎　　　　-　Kato Shozaburo
(Probably a brother of Tokuro))
