Subject:Request your help identifying seals on Baku Tray
Posted By: Roger Sun, Sep 26, 2021 IP: 2601:281:d300:975:9c

Greetings all! Here's a nice lacquer maki-e tray with Baku. I would greatly appreciate any help in identifying the two seals on the tray. Also, do you think this could possibly be Chinese? Thanks much!

It s Chinese.
These cubes are not seals, but an inscription.
It may be translated as,
裴客常満 - Pei's guests are always satisfied

With regards,

Thank you I.Nagy! Thought this might be Chinese but the only examples I could find were Japanese.

Hello I.Nagy! I was wondering if you could help me identify the Bronze Suiban tray I posted a couple of days ago. I'm assuming it is Japanese but I don't know. The mark is very strange. Many thanks!
