Subject:Help Large Bronze Elephant and Lions Okimono

This sat in my family sitting room window for years with no idea on origin. Grandmother was a traveling singer in Japan in 1940s. Large bronze elephant and lions but missing tusks. Help with any info would be greatly appreciated.
