静遠堂製　- Jing Yuan Tang -zhi - Made in Jing Yuan Tang (Quiet Distant Hall)

It is known from Republic era times.

Thank you Nagy so much for your help. I don’t have access to the the Gerald Davidson book and cannot read the writing. Much appreciated. I bought a quite expensive vase because the painting was so beautiful and I think it’s of the period. Now I can be do research on who is the painter the painter. Thanks again.

This nark cannot be found in the book of Gerald Davidson.
The scene depicted on the vase is fron the "Journey to the West" a 16th c. Chinese novel.
