Subject:SINO-TIBETAN LIBATION 'LOTUS POND' HORN

I purchased this horn from an auction in Canada. The auction had a lot of Chinese and Egyptian artifacts. I do not know what animal it came from or how old it is. The horn is 9" long. I would really appreciate your help. Thank you

Hi,

Nice item.

I think that's a horn from a buffalo. They're common around Asia.

To my eye that looks Chinese 19th/20th century but maybe someone else might be able to correct me.
