Subject:Small Chinese bowl poem to identifiy
Posted By: Fahre Sun, Jun 13, 2021 IP: 85.115.61.180

Hello, I was able to acquire this small Chinese bowl with a floral design and a poem.
Could you help me identify the poem written on it? as well as the mark below?
Is it possible to date it? 20th century or is it older?
Thank you

秋日荷花別様紅主 - The lotus is a special red flower in autumn
歳巳未年珠山軒 - In the Year of Earth-Sheep (1919) at Zūshān Study
査永典作 - Made by Zhā Yŏngdiăng
Bottom mark,
査永典造 - Made by Zhā Yŏngdiăng

With regards,
I.Nagy

映日荷花别样红—the redness of the lotus’s flower is unusually beautiful.
乙未年— 1835、1895、1955、2015……,every 60 years a circle. This piece is more than likely before 1895.
珠山轩—Zhushangxuan, a place.
查永兴—Chayongxing, the maker, unknown.
查永兴制—made by Chayongxing, the base mark.
I can’t identify other two words.
Pei

Dear Pei,
You are right about reading the name of maker.
査永興 (查永兴)Cháyŏngxīng (Cha Yung Hsing) as name of a maker studio, however, if it is an individual surname and given name it reads Zhā Yŏngxīng
(Character 査 as surname in Pinyin reads Zhā, otherwise Chá)

With regards,
I.Nagy
