Signature and seal read,
荻邨　-　Tekison

Uda Tekison 宇田荻邨　1896-1980
Shijō　School painter.
His real name was Zenjirō. In 1917 he graduated from
the Kyōto Municipal Art School (later Kyōto City University of Arts). Studied under Kikuchi Hōbun and Kikuchi Keigetsu. Served as professor in the above school from 1936 until his retirement in 1954. Won Imperial Art Academy Award. Was a judge for the Imperial Exhibition and was a director of Nitten.
