Hi There, I'm very hopeful that someone on the forum can help identify the artist and painting that my father has (photos attached). It was given to him as a gift and he really wants to understand the artist and history of the piece.

the first and second line is not a title, but the main pseudonym of the painter;

(it is not clear whether 屋　or 房　 but the meaning (cottage) is the same)
