Anyone able to identify the artist signatures on two paintings?

Chao Shao-an or Zhao Shao'ang (Chinese: 趙少昂; 1905, Guangdong – 1998) was a Chinese artist of the Lingnan School of painting.

Thank you for the information, greatly appreciated. Is that the same signature in both paintings? Same artist?

Yes.

I think Zhao signed his full name in the first picture (It's a bit hard to tell because of his very idiosyncratic way of writing), but the second picture is just the given name 少昂.
