hi everyone. i'm hoping someone here can help me with attaching an approximate date or age to this little painting. I would also love to translate the writing, identify the red seal mark and any information on what this scene is depicting would be great too. there's an old Woodward & Lothrop sticker on the back and the frame is a simple faux bamboo. the only thing i need to mention here is, these pics are all scans and for some reason the pictures came out very blue. the primary color of the main character's robe as well as the foliage is a nice medium dark green. any help will be greatly appreciated...thanks

The painting was likely created sometime between the end of the Qing Dynasty and the early 20th century.
This is amply supported by what appears to be an early 20th-century vignette of the Woodward Lothrop department store, visible on the back of the frame.
