Subject:Transcription of Commentary Itō Chūta Sketch 491
Posted By: Irwin Mon, Jul 13, 2026 IP: 174.127.209.134

Corrections to the below commentary and signature by Mutō Sanji 武藤山治 on Itō's sketch titled Japan on a Work Slowdown, would be appreciated. There are several characters that I've had to take a guess at.
ゆめさめて
見れい
耻かし
怠や
業のむすび
いまはなりつゝ
山治 (followed by two unread characters within a circle.)
The sketch which pictures a businessmen, worker, maid servant, wife and official taking a rest from their usual activity is Ito's reaction to work slowdowns by blue collar workers at the Kawasaki Shipyard.
With thanks.
