Who are the lady warriors attacking princess tagoto and why? Also who are those two travelers and why are they in the scene? Why is Jiraiya just looking? Can you help me understand the whole scene?

Thank you Horst. I was somewhat aware of the story, but I still wonder about this precise scene (with princess Tagoto fighting against female ninjas, while Jiraiya is in the waterfall, Yuminosuke is starting to help, and two travelers are showing up...) in the triptych which is not described in the overall story you mentionned.

Hello Francis,
The scene isn't described in detail anywhere.
On the left, Jiraya and Tagoto are disguised ("no henshin"). They appear to be wandering.
Perhaps they are having a vision about a future event?
The name of the floating "Jiraya" is better translated as "Hiki Kuranin jitsuha Jiraya."
