Subject:Blue and White Bowls

I have 2 blue and white tobacco jars with circles at the top openingand a square box with characters on the bottom. Are the circles also indicative of age?

The mark incribed reads 德昌陶瓷 - De Chang Tao Ci. This is a ceramics manufacturer produced nowadays at Jingdezhen. Maybe at the first decades of 20th century up to 1940 or Republican period.

So the answare is no .The circles didn't indicate the age...only if you want to set its recent status.

I'm not sure where you can find another "De Chang" ceramics, but you can take a look at here to compare general features and simmilarities with the marks:
